Artificial intelligence (AI) beauty startup Lulu Lab won the grand prize in the group category of the 8th Korea Marketing Awards held at Novotel Ambassador on the 15th.
The Korea Marketing Awards will discover outstanding cases that have created market performance through brand competitiveness enhancement activities and select winners after final deliberation by the Consumer Research, Expert Recommendation, and Review Committee. The awards will be divided into three categories: individual, group, and consumer surveys.
Lulu Lab was recognized as a leading company in the market for its innovative management centered on customer value and was named in the group category.
Lulu Lab has developed a customized skincare solution that scans skin, analyzes it within 10 seconds, and recommends cosmetics suitable for individual skin. In addition, it plans to expand projects such as developing customized cosmetics that reflect skin data and insights from different countries with different climates, eating habits, and lifestyles.
We will develop differentiated solutions that can solve skin problems based on more than 400,000 skin data accumulated so far, said Choi Yong-joon, CEO of Lulu Lab. "We are happy to be recognized as a leading company in the Korean beauty market and accelerate our efforts to data skin and provide optimal solutions to users."
Meanwhile, Lulu Lab has won the CES Innovation Award for the second consecutive year since 2019.
